Glenrock Estates came into existence as a coffee estate in 1864 under the British Raj in Yercaud, Tamilnadu’s hill station. Our boutique homestay was started in 2006 and has since flourished and grown to be a secret getaway for many returning patrons.
Yercaud is a hill station in Tamilnadu that stands roughly about 6000 feet above mean sea level within the Salem district. The weather is moderate all year round, with January temperatures hovering around 10 – 15 degrees. It has a traditional annual monsoon season as well.
Glenrock is a fully functional family-owned coffee estate – coffee, spices, and fruit are grown here. The fabulous views and serene green surroundings are the perfect settings for our boutique homestay. With cozy Canadian pine wood cabins, a treehouse, and a dormitory tucked into the hillside surrounded by coffee plantations, Glenrock is your home away from home.
Each cabin offers spectacular views by day and by night. The peaceful, calm atmosphere and clean air is the perfect place to get away from it all to Rest, Relax and Recharge.
